Covation Center Program: 10-Week Masterclass for Local Entrepreneurs in Africatown
Africatown and the Covation Center launched a 10-week Business Masterclass equipping local entrepreneurs with practical business strategies, operational tools, financial guidance, and up to 5 hours of one-on-one coaching.
Africatown has partnered with the Covation Center for a joint 10-week business masterclass, providing entrepreneurs and small business owners with actionable tools to build and scale sustainable operations. Built for founders looking to move beyond motivation and establish real operational structure, the course equips participants to make smarter business decisions with greater confidence. Over the course of 10 weeks, the curriculum guides participants through four essential growth stages. Students begin by building solid business foundations through goal setting, model clarification, and identifying core operational challenges. They then move into customer and marketing strategy to define target audiences, refine pricing, and elevate brand visibility.
The course further dives into financial confidence by mastering profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting. Finally, participants address operations and growth by establishing hiring and HR fundamentals, documenting key business processes, and crafting a sustainable long-term plan. To ensure hands-on guidance throughout the process, each participant receives up to 5 hours of dedicated 1-on-1 support with facilitators and subject matter experts across finance, marketing, strategy, and operations.
