On July 9th, ACANA participated in the Business Conference for Liberia in Philadelphia, supporting President Boakai’s ARREST agenda for economic growth and job creation. ACANA’s CEO, Mr. Jabbateh, presented on a farm workers’ cooperative in Liberia, highlighting how cooperatives can create sustainable jobs, empower small farmers, and foster inclusive growth.
ACANA Board Chair, Mr. Stanley Straughter, facilitated the event, leading conversations with government officials, business leaders, and the diaspora about new trade and investment opportunities.
ACANA also spotlighted the Africatown Initiative as a hub for global and local business relationships to grow, connecting Southwest Philadelphia with African and diaspora economies.
