Basketball Unity Klassic

The Philadelphia Unity Klassik is a citywide youth basketball tournament rooted in the belief that real violence prevention goes beyond policing, it begins with community. The Klassik creates safe, uplifting spaces where youth and families thrive through structured play, mentorship, and opportunity. By using basketball as a tool for violence interruption, the tournament promotes teamwork, literacy, healthy lifestyles, and school readiness while opening pathways to scholarships, grants, and exposure for young athletes. With Summer and Winter Leagues, the Philadelphia Unity Klassik strengthens relationships, builds confidence, and turns the game into a year‑round pathway to peace.
